Founded by Yamileth and Andrew, Nubz & Tails was created with one goal in mind: to provide loving, personalized care for pets in a safe, home-like environment. As lifelong animal lovers, we know how important it is to have trusted care when you’re away, which is why we offer in-home dog boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and dog walking—ensuring your pets receive the attention, playtime, and cuddles they deserve.
At Nubz & Tails, we treat every furry guest like family, with plenty of belly rubs, adventure-filled walks, and cozy nap spots. Our resident “staff”—Mochii (Chief Pawperations Officer), Benjamin Nubz (Director of Zoomies & Fun), and Gatsby the Great (Head of Cuddles & Cozy Vibes)—are always on duty, ready to welcome new friends with wagging tails!
Whether it’s a short visit or an extended stay, we’re here to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and right at home. Because at Nubz & Tails, every pawprint leaves a mark on our hearts!

We Are Yami & Andrew !
When Yamileth and Andrew first met, one of the things that brought them together was their shared love for animals—a little female Maltipoo named Mochii. From the very start, their bond was filled with laughter, long talks, and plenty of belly rubs for their fluffy companion. Mochii wasn’t just a pet; she was family, and her playful energy and loving nature became a big part of their relationship.
Shortly before getting married, Yamileth and Andrew adopted Gatsby the Great, a lovable and energetic pup who quickly became an inseparable part of their family. His playful nature and boundless enthusiasm only strengthened their love for animals and deepened their commitment to providing a loving home for pets in need.
In 2022, Yamileth and Andrew got married, officially uniting their lives—and their ever-growing love for animals. With their home always filled with wagging tails, happy barks, and endless snuggles, they knew they wanted to create a space where other pets could feel the same love and comfort. That’s how Nubz & Tails was born—a passion project turned full-time mission to provide safe, loving, and personalized care for dogs and cats.
In 2023, Benjamin Nubz joined the family, a charming and intelligent Standard Poodle who quickly took on the role of the household’s gentle giant. His playful yet calm demeanor perfectly balanced the energy of Mochii and Gatsby, making their home even more full of love and joy.
Today, alongside their furry “staff”—Benjamin Nubz, Gatsby the Great, and of course, Mochii—they welcome every pet into their home as if they were their own. Because for Yamileth and Andrew, Nubz & Tails isn’t just a business—it’s a labor of love, built on the joy that first brought them together.

Chief Pawperations Officer
Mochii runs the show with her big personality and even bigger voice, making sure every guest feels welcome and loved. A natural caretaker, she’s helped raise two puppies and ensures a cozy, playful atmosphere for all. Fueled by her love for treats, she has mastered the “puppy dog eyes” technique to charm her way into extra snacks.
Gatsby the Great
Head of Cuddles and Cozy Vibes
Gatsby is our gentle and shy Chihuahua mix, who takes his time warming up but, once he does, he’s a true go-getter. As the Head of Cuddles and Cozy Vibes, he ensures every guest receives the perfect amount of snuggles and comfort. Whether curling up for a nap or offering soft companionship to new friends, Gatsby makes sure every pet feels safe, relaxed, and at home.
Benjamin Nubz
Director of Zoomies and Fun
Benjamin Nubz, our playful and energetic Standard Poodle, takes his role as Director of Zoomies and Fun very seriously. Whether he’s leading high-speed chases around the yard or initiating playtime with guests, he ensures every pup has a blast. With his goofy personality and endless enthusiasm, Benjamin makes sure there’s never a dull moment at Nubz & Tails!

Joseph, our reliable House Sitting Specialist, provides pets with comfort and companionship right at home. From feeding and walks to playtime and overnight stays, he makes sure routines stay consistent and pets feel secure. With his calm presence and attentive care, Joseph keeps both pets and homes safe while owners are away.

We offer a free initial Meet & Greet for every new household to get to know your pets, review routines, and answer questions. Additional meet & greets are available for a small fee and can be credited toward your first booking.
